         <description><![CDATA[<p>My biggest takeaway from reviewing the resources on burnout and compassion fatigue is the important reminder that self-care for school counselors is a must, not just a luxury. If counselors don’t take care of themselves, they can become overwhelmed by stress, which makes it harder for them to help their students and do their jobs well (Williams, 2011).</p>]]></description>
