A quiet hermit who had her nose often buried in thriller books is now a 2nd Year College Student who goes by Fel to most, and Felicity Vevaliah A. Maderse as the government name. One of her mainstream interests was listening to music for hours and hours in end while studying, cooking, sleeping and in a bathroom. Particularly, she likes the OPM music from artist like Cup of Joe, Adie and 7th that seems to resonate more with her whole being. She is also a theatre kid at heart who is a big fan of traditional theatrical forms of various ethnic tribes in the Philippines. However, she’s especially interested in the recent with modern opera in theatrical music like Sarswela and popular artists in this craft such as Lea Salongga. Since she likes cinematography, she dearly wishes that Philippine Film Industry might have been loaded with more budget to produce awesome pieces like apocalyptic-thriller film Outside (2024). Filipino Fashion has also tingled her interest with Steffy Misoles-Dacalus who mastered the art of creating indigenous concepts from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. However, what will always had hear over her heels in love was the classic Philippine History Literatures of Noli Me Tangere, Illustrado, and Banaag at Sikat. At heart, it can be derived from all this information that she is like an old-soul, old-music and old-love which Philippine Pop Culture have contributed a lot in shaping her present sense of self.

With our current Government, we are facing a lot of diversities and helplessness. Because only if people are more informed, then we might be not easily baited with fraudulent scams of sweet political promises. Political figures had become "god" in their eyes so much that we're blinded by the truth. Philippine classic literature is a timeless treasure that encapsulates the country’s struggles, resilience, and rich cultural identity. Works like Noli Me Tangere and Banaag at Sikat paint vivid portraits of colonial oppression, social injustices, and the enduring fight for freedom—themes that resonate deeply with nations that have undergone war, colonization, and revolution. The beauty of these literary masterpieces lies in their ability to provoke thought, inspire change, and preserve the voices of the past for future generations. Our works must be proudly spread like a beautiful branches of trees as a symbol of hope that we had faced the same dilemma before, and we can overcomer this once more. To elevate Philippine classic literature to global recognition, it should be highlighted through modern translations, multimedia adaptations such as films and digital storytelling, and integration into international literary discourse. By showcasing its universal themes of love, sacrifice, and resistance, Philippine literature can bridge cultural gaps and solidify its place in the world’s literary canon. Our books is like a far cry of many victims soaked in blood, tears and sweat. We shouldn't invalidate those efforts that had free us from the prison of deceit and greed.

Contemporary Philippine pop culture, particularly the revival and modernization of classic literature through digital media, plays a crucial role in shaping public consciousness and fostering critical thinking. Using the Uses and Gratifications Theory, we can analyze how individuals actively engage with Philippine classic literature adaptations to satisfy their need for information, identity, and empowerment. The digitalization of Noli Me Tangere and Banaag at Sikat—through films, social media discussions, and even interactive platforms—allows audiences to interpret these works beyond academic settings, making them more accessible and relevant. By consuming these adaptations, individuals gain a deeper understanding of historical injustices and recognize their modern parallels, equipping them with the knowledge to resist political deception and advocate for accountability in governance.

Furthermore, the entertainment and social connection aspects of pop culture facilitate its role as a medium for political awareness. When Philippine classic literature is adapted into engaging content—such as films, podcasts, or web series—it resonates emotionally with audiences, reinforcing their personal values and encouraging discourse on historical and contemporary struggles. The sense of community created through these shared narratives fosters a collective realization that past oppressions still persist in different forms today. This gratification of social belonging and ideological reinforcement empowers individuals to take an active role in social movements, helping break the cycle of manipulation and misinformation. Ultimately, Philippine pop culture, when used as a tool for education and awareness, ensures that classic literature remains a powerful weapon against oppression and a beacon of hope for future generations.
