Monday - 16th September 2024 (Week 10)

It was my first holiday at Terengganu. For breakfast, abah decided to have nasi dagang at the Kuala Berang. It's only five of us because Lana and Iyad are still deadly asleep. 1 hour and half an hour away from my hometown. The nasi dagang was finger licking good. After that , we visited “Taman Anggur dan Strawberry” owned by Ustaz Mad or famously known as “Ustaz Kecik”. It was located on top of the Madrasah Ustaz Muhammad Abdullah (Ustaz Mad Kecik). Mama bought some freshly picked grapes and it tastes sooo good. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to grab some strawberries as they were out of stock. After zuhr, abah took us to Kenyir Dam. The view was spectacularly mesmerizing as there was a small waterfall behind our parking. The sound of crickets and birds creates a pleasant environment. I felt like I would be able to spend time there for hours. On our way back home, abah got me a bang bang milk tea because I have craved it for a long time. Moreover, I am a broke student haha.

Tuesday - 17th September 2024 (Week 10)

On the next day, our vacation at Pulau Redang began. I WAS REALLYYY EXCITED as it has been a long time since my family went on vacation to the island. The last time was 10 years ago, when I was 8 years old. At that time we went to the Pulau Kapas and spent time there for a day only. But this time, we took a holiday package trip for three days and two nights. We went there by a big boat for one hour. Luckily, I didn't get seasick. Each one of us got a lifejacket and also goggles. We had to keep it till the last day on the island or else we would have to pay for RM100 each. We better keep it safely or our money would fly away. One room is only for two people so Lana is my roommate. Our room was at the very end of all rooms. As a starter, we played with the sand and planted each other. In the evening, me and Lana were ready to go to the canteen to have our dinner. However, as I was opening the door I was so shocked to see a BIG lizard searching for food. I closed the door as fast as lightning and took a picture of it through the window. Luckily, the lizard went away within a minute.

Wednesday - 18th September 2024 (Week 10)

While we were waiting for the boat to take us for snorkeling, a naughty idea came across my mind. I buried my youngest brother or so called “adik” with the sand. However, he was so cool with it. He's such a different breed, brotha. Adik is such a good boy that he would cry only if he wants milk, sleepy or has pooped or peed. He was easy to handle whenever we went to travel anywhere. Suddenly, Iyad came to me and showed me his arm. His arm got a red striped. He said that he felt a little bit itchy but I warned him not to touch it nor rub. Alhamdulillah, by the end of the day it had gone by itself. Around 1 pm, the boat arrived. It tooks us about 20 mins to the turtle sanctuary. We were given some bread for the turtle to rise up from the water. Unfortunately, after 10 minutes the weather rained heavily. Plus, the tour guide told us that the turtles were already full because they have been fed since early in the morning. However, we were not giving up and waiting for them patiently. Finally, a turtle showed up and the boat slanted to one side because everyone was crowded on the right side of the boat. My older cousin was so excited to record the scene on her phone. We proceeded with kayaking after getting our snacks. It was my first time ever kayaking. Since Lana had done it before she taught me some tips on how to kayak. I never knew that it required a lot of hand strength to push the water away using the rower. We only did it for 15 minutes only as we were already tired.

Thursday- 19th September 2024 (Week 10)

It was the last day at Pulau Redang. I wish that we could stay there longer but I have to go back to the hostel as soon as possible. After we arrived at the jetty, we had the most delicious nasi kukus at Kuala Terengganu. I ordered some ice lime so that my dizziness disappeared. The owner of the restaurant gave us some cikus. We did jamak takdim before heading to Kuala Lumpur. I watched some movies on netflix because i'm getting bored staying in the car for a long time.

Friday - 20th September 2024 (Week 10)

Abah booked Ostia for us to stay there for one night. He bought us “nasi kerabu” for breakfast. It tastes good just like the one I bought at Terengganu. By 12 pm, we checked out and checked in at the Le’Venue Hotel. I don't know why Abah chose to stay there but nevermind. I wish I could do that too in the future. Me and Abah settled down my hostel fees as the final exam is just around the corner.

Saturday - 21st September 2024 (Week 10)

I had roti canai as my breakfast at the mamak. Mama decided to go to Jakel Bangi to choose some fabric and lace for our baju raya next year. At first, she wanted the apple green color but I didn't like it so I suggested her to bought the purple one. Luckily, she agreed with me. Usually, she would argue with my suggestion.After mama paid it all, I was sent to the hostel. I saw rai’s story on instagram posted the habanero chicken tenders. It looks scrumptious that me and Jiha decided to buy it too. It turns out worth the hype andour money. I realized that I have run out of my favorite body wash. So, I bought it on TikTok Shop before falling asleep.

Sunday - 22nd September 2024 (Week 11)

I woke up at 6 and did my Subuh. After that, I recite my Quran till the sun rises. Around 8 am, I did my laundry.Usually on weekends, me and my roommate, isma will have nasi bujang at the stall in front of our hostel. After zuhr, I rearrange my skincares and makeup properly and neatly. It was so satisfying to see my things are well organized. Late in the evening, I saw dina’s story posted about a pinky sunset. I loveee it so much that I reposted the story and tagged her too. During my study time, I did notes for study skills’s subject before the open book test.

Monday - 23rd September 2024 (Week 11)

The next day, the exam schedule came out. It was just a blink of an eye because I just feel like I registered here yesterday. Miss Azlin’s class was online so me and Dina decided to stay at the library. Before we went back to the hostel, we did the recording for the final project for Bahasa Arab’s subject. I thought it would take us a long time but we did half of the recording in only two hours.

Tuesday - 24th September (Week 11)

Today, Dina and I decided to wear hoodies to the hostel. Lucky for us that we wore hoodies as the class was very cold due to the low temperature of the aircond. At the library, I continued my notes while listening to my kpop playlist. For dinner, I bought the burger at the stall behind our hostel. I fell asleep a bit late as the class tomorrow started at 12 pm. Before that I got through the topic for the Arab speaking test. I don't worry much as it will be a piece of cake for me.

Wednesday - 25th September 20224 (Week 11)

I went to Madam Syukriah’s room to sit for the test. As I said before it was very easy as the questions were the basic ones that we had learnt before. We also got a presentation for Miss Reenie’s class about what we had learnt before. We have to make questions based on the topic given to each group. The presentation goes out very well.

We spent our time at the library before we had the physical class. Nothing much happened today. At night, I saw Rai live at the tiktok selling her own scarf. I excitedly grabbed two of them even though it cost me nearly 100. I didn't mind about it as I adore her sooo much ever since I registered here. She was such an inspiration for me to be a good muslimah. I can't wait to wear her scarf soon.

Friday - 27th September 2024 (Week 11)

I took a bath before going to the stall with Dina. She told me that she wanted to buy something to eat as she was extremely hungry. I bought some “jemput pisang” for my brunch. After that, I packed my things because I needed to go to the KL Sentral before 4pm. I ordered a grab and the driver was a Chinese man. After a one hour drive, I arrived there safely. It was my mistake to wait outside alone as a strange Chinese man greeted me and asked some questions. At first, I was okay with it but once he wanted to see my bank account, I immediately went away from him and went inside. Abah texted me that he had an urgent meeting so I had to wait for him for about 2 hours. It was so boring. Five minutes before 7, Abah had arrived and we were in a hurry to buy the KL Express’s tickets. Luckily, we got in there. We arrived at the KLIA and had dinner together before boarding. I was excited and elated as it has been a long time since the last time I took a flight to go back to my home. By 10.15 pm, we safely landed at Senai Airport.

Saturday - 28th September 2024 (Week 11)

All of us woke up early and got ready to hang out together. We had our lunch at Kampung Kong Kong Laut. Before we went back home, Abah stopped by at the Family Mart. I tried the caramel milkcandy frappe. It was nice.

It was a hectic day as Abah and I went to the commision court to settle my MARA loan application. It was supposedly settled by yesterday but Abah was too tired to drive. It took us an hour only. After everything was finished, Abah sent me back to the hostel. Sometimes, I feel very guilty because I can't do everything on my own. Hopefully, one day I can repay everything by making them proud of me studying here.

Monday - 30th September 2024 (Week 12)

There was a unifest at college. I tried mac and cheese at one of the stall. It was sooo yummy. I also bought some bracelets because they look so pretty. We went back to the hostel earlier than usual as there were only two classes today.

Tuesday - 1st October 2024 (Week 12)

Today, I woke up early as usual because class started at 8 am. I walked to the college with Dina. We had an open book test for study skills’s subject. I felt really nervous and happy at the same time. It is because only five subjects are left for the final tests. We bought some food for dinner at the foodcourt. I took a bath and did asr before I had my chicken chop. I was shocked when I saw my roommate’s biscuits were bitten by the rat. I had no idea how to get rid of it as it was always hiding somewhere.

Wednesday - 2nd October (Week 12)

Today, we have to wear baju kurung and I decided to continue our recording for the arab final project. Alhamdulillah, it went well and we finished it. She must be grateful as I didn't kick her out because of her free rider attitude. After maghrib, Dina took me out to the night market with her friend. Lucky us, her friend paid for all of our food. We spilled some tea before going back to the hostel. It was fun.

Thursday - 3rd October 2024 ( Week 12)

We had our class banquet today. We were late but our mentor told us to tidy and clean up all the mess. So, I decided to do it after I finished my meals. I went to the toilet with Sofi to wash our hands. Some of our classmates enter the toilet with the water jar. I volunteer to help one of them but she refuses too. I feel a little bit offended and guilty even though she said she was okay with it. I hope that she was really okay with all that she had done and not a two-faced person. Sofi, Jiha , Zu and me with the help of others rearrange the tables and chairs back to normal. We went back to the hostel by bus around 2pm.

Friday - 4th October 2024 (Week 12)

Today is the last day for all the students to send the MARA documents at the office. I walked to the college with Dina. Alhamdulillah, we had all the documents required and complete. After that, we had a grammar test at 3 pm. It was easy but silly me, I got one wrong answer after Miss Reenie checked. After I did my isyak, I folded my washed clothes. I decided to took out all the clothes and rearrange them back. However, I found out that there were some rat poops. It was so disgusting. Maybe it was my fault as I didn't close my locker properly before falling asleep. I report it to my level head and it was not my room alone that had a rat in their room.

Saturday - 5th October 2024 (Week 12)

It was the day ! Today, Aina and I joined a volunteering programme for the marathon at Kuala Lumpur. I ordered “popcorn ayam kicap sambal gesek” for my lunch. We decided to look for the raincoat at KK stall behind our hostel. It cost us about RM 15. We went there around 9 pm by bus. At 12 am, we were divided into small groups for each station.

Sunday - 6th October 2024 (Week 13)

We had a nap for one hour. We started to arrange the tables and mineral bottles together on the road. We finished at 4 am. I felt a bit exhausted so I sat down for a while. By 5 am, the runners had arrived. They were so fast that some of them accidentally dropped the water. We keep on refilling and passing the drink to the runners till 10 am. Finally, we could rest and have our chicken rice for lunch at the stadium. We went back to the hostel at 2 pm and were given rm50 each of us. It was such a fun weekend!
