It's in partnership with the City of Toronto and located in Markham. They have developed the space to have fuse ball tables, billiards, food, music, a recording studio, and a multimedia lab. Within this program they have a Youth Outreach workers that refer or bring in youth to the space to better help them. They also have many other drop in services to connect youth to different supports. The job salary split is split two bands depending on the role of the CYC and location in which they work.

    As all other practices, they too have been affected by COVID. However, they took this pandemic as a chance to get creative in the way they deliver services. They host virtual events as much as possible and have really taken to social media to engage youth as much as possible!

She worked with youth with developmental disabilities. She now says that she believes anyone in our field must have the chance to work with youth with developmental disabilities as it refines your skills in communication. She also believes the trend we will see in CYC is a lot of work with those with developmental deficits.
