         <title>Controlled practice</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Controlled practice:</strong></p><p>Student will watch a video. </p><p>Students will participate in a discussion about what they saw in the video. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Less controlled practice</strong></p><p>Teacher will ask student to do actions based on ‘was’ and ‘were’. Eg. Jan was jumping, Aalyah was sitting, We were laughing. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Free practice:</strong></p><p>Student will draw something that they did on their holiday which should include themselves and their family. </p><p>Teacher will write sentence starters on the board for the students to use. </p><p>Then student will write down a sentence using the sentence starters to describe what they did using correct grammar.</p><p>Additionally student can verbalise their sentence instead of writing.</p><p>Students will share their sentences with the class. </p>]]></description>

Ss guess the noun</p><p>e.g. Big, green, leafy = tree</p><p><br/></p><p>Less controlled practice: </p><p>Sort the adjectives that best describes either people, places or things. </p><p>Handsome: My friend is a handsome boy. </p><p>Fluffy: The beautiful fluffy cat. </p><p>Cozy: The cozy sofa is my favorite. </p><p><br/></p><p>Free practice: </p><p>Write a story to show how and when to use specific adjectives. </p><p>Group work: Write a short story using the picture. Describe the person, place and thing using appropriate adjectives. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
