Summary: Colonist marched towards Bunker Hill with orders of fortifying it, instead of doing this though they decided to provoke the British instead by fortifying Breed's Hill instead. The colonist were very disorganized and without a proper chain of command thus the British bombarded them at this moment. The colonist shot at the clustered British making the British face many casualties. Eventually the colonist used up all of their ammunition and thus some of them left. Their leadership was very effective their general did a very good job of leading them to battle. Even though they lost it proved to the British that the colonist were very serious about this fight and that they would have to put more effort into it if they wanted to succeed. 
Resources:The Americans used their weapons as best they could and they fought as good as a barley trained militia could. Used up all of their ammunition in the end.

British were well organized and prepared to disembark early with well seasoned leaders. Although in the beginning of they were not doing so well because of how clustered they were the leaders changed tactics halfway
Resources: Depleted their sources so they dissolved their ideas of conquering another high point near the city.
Strategy: Decided to dislodge the colonist before they were fully entrenched/reinforced. The British bombarded the colonist while they were setting up. Changed tactics halfway from charging in a straight line to charging in with well spaced columns, also repositioned their artillery and raked the rebel defenses with grapeshot
