6.Renewable energies yes or no?

Renewable energy sources are in my opinion our future. But i think there is still a lot of research to do before we are able to quit the old methods of generating electric energy. Becouse there are not enough good solutions to save the generated electricity.
Overall i would say that there is still a lot of research needed but i think that renewable energy is the only way to go.

1.How is wind energy made ?

A wind turbine is build on a high tower to get constant wind. On the top is the generator which is attached to the rotor blades. The rotor blades can be turned in the wind or even out the wind (if the wind is to strong). The rotor blades starts spinning and drive the generator. The generator then produces the electric energy , which is transported through power cables into a transformer. From the transformer the energy is transported to where its been used.

Onshore:
Onshore wind turbines are build on the land , becouse of that they have to be build on very high towers to get a constant amount of wind.
Offshore:
Offshore wind turbines are build on the sea , they do not need a very high tower becouse the wind on sea is more constant even on lower height. The problem with offshore is that it is very complicated to install and repair the wind turbines and the costs are much higher .

I think that wind energy is a good way to produce electric energy, becouse wind is available everywhere. But the research is not as far as it is needed. To make wind energy more efficient we need better storage options to cover the times when its wind still. I think that offshore wind turbines are the future of wind energy becouse they are more efficent than onshore wind turbines and their potential is really high.
