"Sometimes lies are more dependable than the truth." (2)’

The line between good and evil is blurred here because generally, lies are a bad thing and the truth is a good thing. When this is said in the book, people talk about covering up the truth with lies to protect others. Also, the truth can sometimes not be as useful to tell to the public as lies that can be molded to what is needed. When the lies are told to protect others, the line between good and evil is blurred.

Even though he has an ulterior motive of betraying Will Turner, he is balanced out by his unexpected counts of heroism and camaraderie.

This is an example of how just one little thing can escalate to something larger. This is commonly know as the “Butterfly Effect.”

This work of art titled, "David with head of Goliath," Is an amazing symbol fo the general themes relating good and evil. David the good, has killed Goliath, and taken his head as a prize. This is a demonstration of how good triumphs over evil, no matter the odds.Although isn't it evil to take a life and take it's head as a prize!? Maybe... some lines are meant to be crossed...

In this song titled, "One jump ahead," In Aladdin shows that even though somebody may be breaking the law, it does not make them a bad person. Aladdin sings about how only steals to feed himself. True in this song he does openly mock the authorities... but they are fairly corrupt. So those on the right side of the law are not necessarily the good guys either.

The way I believe that this song connects to the theme of "One's actions can affect others," is the way that this song keeps building on top of what has been sung already. Each time they build it either get's more specific or more far fetched. A simple empty bag of chips leads to crazy mice attacking a tree house... only to have a dog come to the rescue.
