Motivation is divided into two parts:
internal stimulation
extrinsic stimulation
The two parts complement each other,
Intrinsic motivation stems from the soul, and the inner motivation of children is reinforced by the parents (it is considered the nucleus of motivation).
Then the external influences begin to stimulate the ((external stimulus)).
How can we make students motivated?
First, the barrier between the teacher and the students must be broken so that he can recover from them and know the individual differences between the students.
Second, the teacher should focus on body language and the link between him and his students.
Thirdly, focus on the terms used by the professor, such as ((wrong, incorrect)) and replace them with ((good attempt, rethink, approaching the correct answer....etc)).
Fourth, we must completely move away from traditional teaching methods, as they are very boring and reduce motivation, response and desire to learn the language.

How to motivate students?
Such a process is not easy to accomplish if the teacher himself/herself is demotivated.
Why I said to be demotivated because at the beginning of our careers as teachers we were motivated then years passed and we lost it. So if you want to motivate your students first you have to motivate yourself.
To motivate your students you should share with them positive feelings cuz feelings can be shared easily. Then you have to know them well, to know what they like the most. You can make a survey or You can contact their parents. Praise their smallest achievements. Prepare some small gifts. Take them on a trip.
