I think that, the history of America and the world would have been very different if Columbus had not arrived on the continent, as another European explorer would have done later, with similar consequences. On September 11, 2001, a group of terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners and crashed two of them into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Another was crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and a fourth plane crashed in Pennsylvania.

In my opinion, i think the world would probably be less nuclear, with weaker superpowers, less global coordination, delayed end of colonialism, and tens of millions more people alive today.

I think there are 2 possibilities, the first is that we would continue to be countries closed to some injustices because we were not able to raise our voices before or we would simply have moved forward without having to lose so much population and do so much damage, although I am a faithful believer that everything happens for a reason and The Second World War was tragic but it brought us lessons for the future.

The world would be very different if world war 2 never occurred,whatever the reasons.

1-The following nations would not now exist.

2- Russia would now be a republic.

3- There would be few independent nations in the Caribbean.

4- Without the need of warfare to drive their development, many of today's inventions would have been postponed 10-15 years or simply never invented.

5- Not cold war

6- No atom bomb attack of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

7- There would be have been numerous smaller wars in Europe, even today....

If Columbus had not discovered America, let's be realistic, our evolution as a race would not have been almost possible since he brought with him many advances for our ethnic group, and perhaps I believe that our continent would be isolated from the others since thanks to him the other expeditions to come to our continent and even though it colonized and to a certain extent took advantage of our natives, mistreating them and looting our memories like gold. The positive thing about all this is that we obtained a great technological advance that allowed us to be who we are today with all the resources we have and technological advances.

Let's be realistic, it is impossible to know with certainty what would have happened if Christopher Columbus had not arrived in America. However, I think that is possible to make some speculations based on the historical knowledge we have. It is likely that contact between Europe and America would have occurred anyway because Europeans were eager to find new trade routes and explore new lands, whether they had found America sooner or later. If Columbus had not arrived, Europeans would have had less information about America and would have been less likely to try to conquer and colonize it. This could have led to a more peaceful development of relations between the two cultures.
