Since I moved to the north of Germany I have come to appreciate the Scandinavian countries and their mythology.
I mainly teach young adults on their way to their final exam Abitur. I think it is very important to talk about culture, heritage and cultural identity, especially in times of globalization. For me it has always been very clear where I come from and what my roots are – this helps. Living at the border of Denmark is very enriching and we have never regretted to move towards the north. 
I am very much looking forward to the course and Iceland!

Sotkamo, my home town, is 500 kilometres north of Helsinki.
My hobbies are playing tennis, going to gym, reading, studying Spanish and  travelling. 
My favourite season is summer because I love sun and swimming in the lakes. I also like picking mushrooms.

In my spare time I am a beekeeper and my bees produce the best honey on Madeira Island. ;-))
