      <title>Energy Sources by Nandani Senarath</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/nandanisenarath22/fgwh0vcavtt0u5nr</link>
<description>Energy comes from many different sources, both natural and man-made. The Sun is the primary source of energy for Earth, providing light and heat that supports all life. Biomass includes organic materials like wood and plant waste, which can be burned to produce energy. Fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas are formed from ancient remains and are widely used for electricity, transport, and industry. However, they are non-renewable and harmful to the environment. In contrast, renewable sources like wind, hydropower (moving water), sea waves, and tidal waves use natural movements of air and water to generate clean energy. Geothermal energy uses heat from beneath the Earth’s surface, while nuclear energy comes from splitting atoms to release a large amount of power. These energy sources have different advantages and uses, such as powering homes, factories, and transportation, making them essential to modern life.</description>
