Pollination is where insects move pollen from one plant to another, fertilising the plants so that they can produce fruit, vegetables, seeds and so on. If all the bees went extinct, it would destroy the delicate balance of the Earth’s ecosystem and affect global food supplies.

I think humans are to blame for the decrease in bees as in 2011 we had the warmest April on record. This is believed to be caused by global warming and that is a factor caused by humans. As the planet warms there is less rainfall, without rainfall plants cannot grow and pollination and the production of nectar would stop meaning bees would die. Another factor of humans being responsible for the death of bees is the fewer trees on the planet due to us cutting them down. Trees are a great place for bees to setup a hive without trees it is harder for us to look after our population of bees and stop them become extinct. Farmers release pesticides in order for their crops to be safe as these pesticides eat the animals that destroy crops. Although these Pesticides are extremely harmful to bees and can kill them. One factor that isn’t the humans fault is that when bees sting a person they die although that isn’t the humans fault the bees sting as a method of protection and humans aggravate and scare them which forces them to sting as a way of self-defence.

In our opinion it is the humans fault bees are slowly becoming extinct,and that we need to change our ways quickly before our actions are irreversible and before some of the necessities in our life become gone.
