They are not completely reliable, because of the system used to rank them since they don’t take into account student life and other factors related to students.

I understand that these university rankings can be very biassed especially when it comes to popular universities like Ivy league schools where its going to be very one-sided. Most of the stats taken into consideration aren't even very useful and most of it is improperly weighted. I love how they also just leave certain things out like student life and student traditions.

USATODAY and USANEWS are lying to young ambitious high school students that are trying to go to college. Even their parents, who try to help them as well, are victims of these lies and for that we must eradicate university rankings !!!!

I will be looking more into factors such as student life and the rate of employment 10 years after graduating and not let myself be influenced as much by rankings made by news sites.

There is misinformation about rankings and they don't take into consideration important factors like life outside the campus. They are also not reliable

The universities rankings are not complete reliable as the system and ranking is very flawed as they don't take into account student life and other more important factors related to the students.

i will do my own research about these universities and not pay attention to the rankings as they are corrupt. I will look at common data sets and also ask people that are already studying there for their own personal opinion about if that university is actually good or not. I will also make sure that I don't judge a uni just on acceptance rates and academics but also student life for example

I now know that I shouldn't rely on the statistics that they show and instead focus on the aspects that really matter to me and that will affect me in my day to day besides the academics.

OMG! I cant believe all of the things we were never taught about, crazy how peer assesment consists about the 20% of the ranking! Personally I learned from this and even helped me change my mind on my university list! Therefore i don not rely anymore on USAtoday, #youdontneedharvardtobesmart

I will focus more on environment and quality of study more than the acceptance rates and ranking conducted by these organisations!

The video really changed my view as it made me realize we should not pay as much attention to these ranking as we do. We should focus on if the university is a right fit for us individually as at the end we will spend about 4 years there and we should not only base our decision on the generalized ranking. The ranking uses fake or manufactured stats to support their decisions which implicates the rankings are inaccurately made.

I understand that college rankings are very biased and most of the factors they are judged on, are not necessarily relevant to actually judging the college. They also fail to take into account the student experience. The student experience has a strong effect on the students academical outcome and a bad experience can cause a student to lose interest in their dream career and be uninspired.

They aren't all very reliable and are very strict, not considering life ouside of school
