  • Setting: some of Stranger Things is set in an alternate universe/world called "the Upside Down".

    In The Upside Down, alien-like and monstrous creatures live and begin to slowly invade the human world.

    The Hawkins Laboratory is also a significant setting in this show.

  • Technology: Advanced lab technology that involves lab testing on humans and forming connections to the Upside Down

  • Characters: Humans - scientists ad heroes, otherworldly creatures/monsters,

  • Mood: Stranger Things evokes intense, thrilling and mysterious moods.
