The Cave was first discovered in 1924 by an Indian Tribe.
Cave divers found mammal fossils belonging to the Saber-toothed tiger and the giant ground sloth.  They were both alive around 6000 - 10 000 years ago in the Pleistocene Era.

is made up mostly of the mineral calcite.  It also has amounts of clay, silt, and sand. * The water is really clear that you can see the bottom of the lake with your eyes 

* The are large amounts of limestone, which acts like a natural filter for the water.  This is why the water is so clear.

* The sunshine cause the blue shade of water even if it crystal clear.

* People can going snorkeling in the blue clear water next to geological cave formations
