Take a screenshot of your mobile device screen while you're on the Introduction page of this site. Be sure to capture the heading. How does it look on your personal device? Post your screenshot to the Padlet. Make sure your post includes the make and model of your device (for example: Apple iPhone 8+). Check back to see what your classmates' viewing experience is like on their device!

Hi all! Thanks for sharing the OER. I had some trouble with the Padlet plugin on this page. The Padlet window is super tiny and I can't make it bigger, so I can only view three lines of text at a time. Addiionally, whenever I try to click back and edit a word, the cursor jumps and inserts it elsewhere, or randomly attaches it to a new word (although this is a problem I've realized on a lot of text field inputs in Chrome on this device). Lastly, after adding to the Padlet, I can't scroll back up to the top of the post. As soon as I let go of the page, it jumps back down to the bottom of the most recent post!
Other, everything is working smoothly, and I'm happy to say the simplified view is also OK! I'm on a Samsung 8, using Chrome.

Thanks everyone for sharing what you've found so far. We had a bit of "fun" trying to make interactive activities working on mobile devices as well. Padlet is such a popular tool and it can be challenging on the phone, sometimes you have to open it in its own window for it to work. If there's a better tool out there, definitely would love to hear about it! :) Thanks Brogan on the point about typing without being able to see, I share frustration myself. This definitely has make me want to find a more mobile first app for interactivity!

I have not been shy this course about the awful mobile experience that packet provides in a web browser. To be honest, I do 99% of my homework on my laptop, as I find the small screen of my mobile phone gives me a headache when I’m on it for too long . I also have a hard time using Padlet on my phone as it doesn’t show the whole picture before I post— and I like to re-read what I write.
-Kat
