Franny is Wilbur's restless and enthusiastic mother, who discovered how to teach toads how to sing and play music in the best big band style.

Bud sees life a little differently. He likes to wear clothes backwards, front to back, and is always looking for his teeth.

As previously stated, each member of this numerous family is opposing, contrasting and contradictory, this is what makes them dysfunctional. Nevertheless, the same factors are what makes each relative special and what bonds each other. Assembling everyone's clashing characteristics in one big, unfit and happy family, is what makes the movie so appealing.

     Here we can see a gender division of labor. The robotic mom is responsible for the children and the housework, while Reginald is responsible for bringing the money and a ridiculous amount of trauma that should be enough for a lifetime, but of course, it isn't, that's why there are 3 seasons of this series about this family.
