         <description><![CDATA[<div>His next scholarship was to Canterbury College in Christchurch, New Zealand. He got both his Bachelor of arts and Master of arts degree there. He also was able to get First Class Honors in Math and science. Still at Canterbury, in 1984,  he conducted research on the ability of high-frequency electrical discharge to magnetize iron. This research got him a Bachelor of Science. Still in 1984 he found the love of his life, Mary Newton.  </div>]]></description>
