I am also a proud mom of two wonderful children, which helps me understand the joys and challenges of early learning from both a teacher’s and a parent’s perspective. In my free time, I enjoy reading and creating art, and I love bringing creativity and imagination into our classroom.

   We take care of our classroom, materials, and each other’s belongings to keep our space nice for everyone.

We use Responsive Classroom strategies to model, practice, and reinforce these expectations, helping students build responsibility and self-control. With Love and Logic, we guide behavior with empathy and fairness, encouraging students to make positive choices and learn from mistakes in a supportive way.

• Class Remind App: This will be our main tool for updates. I will regularly send messages about what we are learning, upcoming events, and photos of classroom activities. I’ll also use it for quick notes or reminders.

• Email: For any concerns that need more detail or longer conversations, I will reach out via email. You are always welcome to email me as well!

• Parent-Teacher Conferences: We will have two formal conferences during the year to discuss your child’s progress and set goals together.

• Phone Calls: I will schedule three check-in calls, in late August, January, and April, to touch base and share updates.

   Pumpkin Day is a hands-on event where we explore everything from pumpkin science (e.g., measuring and weighing pumpkins) to pumpkin art projects. It’s a fun way to learn about fall and practice skills like measurement and fine motor development.

3. STEAM Day (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math):
