In my language arts class, we had two Socratic Seminars. Our first subject was based off of the book, The Watson's Go to Birmingham.We discussed the racial differences and whether or not the discrimination has gotten better or worse over the years. We also discussed what has changed to try to end racism. Our second topic was based off of the book A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens. During this seminar, we discussed all the things like labor and homeless that is mentioned in the book. I am proud of myself for being able to argue something that I think is right.
