This has come on leaps and bounds Vanessa! I think the experiments you are carrying out with your sound piece are really strong – keep going with these. Consider how you 'package' the sound piece, does it need supporting visuals? How will your audience know it exists / where will they locate it / start the journey etc.

For the interim crit on Friday, aim to pitch this as an experience you'd like people to sign up for - tell us what they (and who they are) will get from it, and how the experience will unravel. Also feel free to use that time to play some of your recordings to us.

I also think you'd benefit from scoping out more creatives that work in this way.

I'm sure you've spotted SoundFjord in the are.na link I sent last week. The sensory wanders I think could be useful for you to explore in more depth. https://www.soundfjord.org/

Likewise, installations like the LongPlayer might help you consider the duration aspect of this. Is it something people tune into no matter when, or is there a start and an end to the sound piece. https://longplayer.org/

Fluxus sound artists are always great references in terms of chance and sporadic sound. Especially if you wanted to be even more experimental in terms of who makes the sound / who has control over the sound being played to them etc.
