The value and importance of sharing stories with children is passing on knowledge that was passed down to us when we were children, we can share so many different ways like just for fun make up books using puppets or we can tell stories that are legend such as why we shouldn’t be around the shore with no supervision from adults. Children like to be hosted especially in a funny way we can joke and be honest at the same time.

Sharing stories with children in our care is one of the most important things to do with children as story telling brings our bonds closer. Story telling for them can be very interesting and they get to learn new things for them. Inuit culture story telling have many meanings which tell them to be careful of their surroundings which is very useful as we love to be outside. Story telling is great for their imagination along with cognitive thinking. Brings us alll closer together and have an understanding for many things regarding the stories.

Children love to hear stories and enjoying what has pass on to them by story telling, they do enjoy what others shared about stories or even just reading a book kids really get excited about the book, or make up stories get funnier and laughing together is the beautiful part to see the children laughing and curious about the stories, imagination is always there as a kid or even as a adult when we are imagining things like children enjoy the most when we are doing it together.

What i enjoy during circle time is reading a books to them and listening to other caregivers when they are reading a books. Using their imaginations and pretending to be in the books is what i love to hear, and when they get carious what other page is going to say. Also learning different dialects around nunavut from the book's.

Children loves hearing stories. Either a book, make up stories, I ask the children too what they had for lunch at their place, during circle time we ask the children too what they did yesterday after daycare, children gets so interact by listening to other children and caregivers. Sharing stories with children is valuable because it supports their intellectual, emotional, social, and language development while also creating meaningful connections with the people around them.
