"I'm not in the mood to play Minecraft, I want to read my book" Mal said then walked to the living room and grabbed her favorite book "meow or never" then opened the book and started reading.
 Max ran to the living room and snatched her book. "you’re always reading!" Max whined.
 "Hey! give it back!" Mal yelled as Max ran around the room.
 "Never!" Max yelled then Mal started to chase him.
 "Ugh! you’re so annoying!" Mal complained as she flopped on the couch.
 "I’ll give it back if you play Minecraft with me" Max said and smirked.
 "fine but only for an hour because it’s getting late" Mal sighed.
 "Yes!" Max said running to get the Nintendo switches and put the Minecraft game card in both of them     
 
 They continued to play Minecraft, for at least a hour or so.

“No! i got killed by a zombie!" Mal complained as Max giggled.
 "okay Max it’s been an hour time for bed" Mal said while turning off her Nintendo and then walked over to Max to take his Nintendo Lite and put it on the DVD stand.
 "please one more hour?" Max begged following Mal.
 "No, it’s been an hour plus, you need your sleep!" Mal said ushering Max to the bed room.
 "Get in your pajama's while i go get my book okay?" Mal said walking to the door way.
 "okay" Max said getting his pajama’s from under his pillow.
 Mal walked to the living room and she looked around and when she saw her book. she grabbed it and made her way bck to the bedroom. but all of a sudden, she heard a horse outside. she wanted to go outside and check it out, but didn’t was to leave Max alone in the house. so, she looked out the window and saw a horse it looked white but its eyes glowed white.
 "Mal!" Max yelled from the bed room. Mal wondered what the horse was doing but then started to make her way to the bedroom again.
 "you done?" Mal asked Max. walking toward the bed room.
 "yup" Max said in a cheerful voice.
 "Okay get in bed you need your sleep if you want pancakes in the mornings!" Mal grinned and turned on the lava lamp.
 "is the lava real?" Max asked pointing at the lava lamp Mal had on her night stand.
 "No you goof ball! it’s just glowing liquid" Mal answered. as she walked to her bed.
 "why isn't it real?" Max asked looking at Mal as she rolled on to her bed.
 Mal paused for a bit, "it would be dangerous to use real lava" Mal answered finally.
 "how does the liquid glow?" Max asked with a curious look on his face.
 "because-" Mal said the realizing what Max was doing.
 "wait a minute! Your trying to distract me so you can stay up longer!" Mal said
 "aw man, you almost fell for it!" Max said huffing.
 "just go to bed Max" Mal said in a tired voice.
 "okay, Night Mal!” Max said in a cheerful voice while rolling to his side in his bed.
 "night Max…" Mal said before she fell asleep.

 Around 3 Am in the morning, Mal heard a screeching sound.
 "what is that awful noise?!" Max said sitting in his bed.
 "I don't know but it’s annoying" Mal groaned.
 "Go check what it is so I can get shut eye!" Max complained
 "really Max? You’re going to send me walking around the house in slippers and check what it is?" Mal said standing up next to Max's bed.
 "I can’t, what if it’s a scary monster?" Max said looking around.
 "Use the bat" Mal said pointing to the bat in the corner of the room next to their closet.
 "will you not be lazy for once?" Max complained to Mal.
 "fine" Mal said in a tired voice.
 Mal walked around the house, bat in hand. She heard the screech again it wasn’t in the house it was outside...

“What is it Mal?” Max asked rubbing his eyes.
"Its just a horse" She said then she walked back to the corner to prop the bat back to where it was. Mal walks to the bed and flops then she immediately falls asleep.
"Mal" Max said after a few minutes. "What..?" Mal replied sleepily, she rubbed one eye while looking at Max. "The horse is gone.." He said. "So?" she replied. "I don't know" He answered. Mal sighed. She layed back down on her bed, and fell asleep.
The next morning, Max wasn't in his bed. "Max?" Mal called out. No one answered her. "Max?" She called out again. She got out of bed and started to panic. He was annoying but he was still her brother. "MAX IF THIS IS A PRANK IT ISN'T FUNNY!" she yelled out. She started to look around the house, she didn't find him anywhere. She sat down on the couch and started to think. "Where could he have gone...?"
She hid her face with her hands. Then, she heard a knock on the wall. "Who's there?" She answered. The knocking continued. She started to panic again. "MAX?!" She yelled. The knocking got louder. The walls started to shake. A earthquake? Mal thought. she didn't have time to be confused. She dropped her self on the ground and rolled under the table. the shaking didn't stop for awhile. Once the shaking stopped. Mal crawled out from under the table. She looked around, it was a mess in the house because of the earthquake. She sighed and started cleaning she didn't forget about the fact that her brother was missing though.
