I think it was a good idea for Shane to join the baseball team again. He needed something to do because he would just stay at home all the time when he wasn't at school. His grades were also a lot better when he joined. Shane was playing baseball against the team he used to be on, Shorelake. He hit their best batter, Reese Robertson, in the face. He told himself it wasn't his fault, but I still think he felt sorry. He visited the hospital Reese was staying in without telling anyone. I think Shane was sad he can't pitch anymore. He isn't allowed because he hit Reese. His friend, Miguel, took over pitching for him. I think that made Shane mad. I think Shane made the right decision on getting a job for the summer. He can earn money and see if he likes being a referee for basketball. He gets $12 per game and he has three games a day, from Monday to Friday.
