I visited London United Kingdom with my family in June 2016. In London people speak English.

Food: We ate lots of British food like Fish and Chips and had a good English Breakfast in the mornings.

Places: We visited some famous places in London like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The London Bridge and the London Eye.

Interesting Facts:

Currency: In London we used Pounds and Pence as the currency to go shopping.

Weather: London has four seasons - Spring, summer, autumn and winter. It was summer during the time we were there.

Melaka, 멜라카 말레이시아

Tony visited Melaka, Malaysia with family in July 2025. Tony took bus to go Melaka from Singapore.

Food : Tony ate Gula melaka and peranakan food such as Pie Tee.

You can enjoy various Durian deserts too.

Place : There are many old luxurious peranakan mansions. And some of them are now used as hotels.

At Dutch Square, you can ride glowing bicycles and meet street artists who draw portraits. Tony also asked one of the artists to sketch a caricature of himself.

At night, Tony took a sightseeing boat at the river which runs through Melaka.

Interesting Facts : Popular snack Mammy Monster is originally from Melaka. If you go to Melaka, there is Mammy Monster suvenir shop, and you can make your own cup noodle.

Currency : In Melaka, we use MYR. (Malaysian Ringgit)

Weather : Melaka is usually hot like summer.

Jämsä, Finland

The country in the picture is Finland. I was snowboarding there in January 2025 in Jämsä, Central Finland. We spent a lot of time there with my family during the winters ever since I was 3 years old. I have skied and snowboarded there very much.
Popular foods in Finland include, for example, salmon soup, rye bread, macaroni casserole, and meatballs. People also eat a lot of berries that grow in the forests, such as blueberries.
I lived in Helsinki, Finland, which is the capital. In the summers, we often visited our cottage in Tammisaari, which is by the sea about 100 km from Helsinki. In the winters, we went skiing/snowboarding in Central Finland and Lapland in Northern Finland.
Finland has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In the summer it is warm, sometimes as hot as in Singapore. In midsummer, the sun doesn't set at all, and it is light even at night. In the winter, it is very cold and there is a lot of snow. Especially in Northern Finland, it is cold, even −30 degrees Celsius.
The Finnish currency is the Euro (€).

Food: there I ate burgers and fries.

Places: We visited the 500 monges temple, blue lagoon and during evening we made a boat tour on a lake to see fireflies.

Currency: In Indonesia we used Rupia.

Weather: When we visited Bintan is hot like summer.

Gaku went to the United States with his family in June 2025. He visited four cities: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. He was surprised that the time was different in each city, even though they are in the same country.

Food: In the U.S., Gaku ate popular American foods. He had hamburgers, pizza, and steak. In New York, he had fun choosing colorful M&M’s at a chocolate shop. The M&M’s had many flavors, and he could buy them by weight.

Place: One of the most amazing places was the Statue of Liberty in New York. It was very big. Gaku took a ferry from Manhattan. It took about 15 minutes to get to Liberty Island, where the statue stands.

Weather: June is summer in the U.S., but the weather was different in each city. Los Angeles was hot, and Gaku wore short sleeves. But San Francisco was windy and cold, so he needed a jacket.

Currency: In the U.S., people use money called the dollar ($).
