         <description><![CDATA[<div>A general note on deciding on measures - really pin down your projects aims and outcomes first. You shouldn't be measuring anything that you weren't aiming to achieve. So if you think something might be interesting to know then have it as an aim and an outcome. <br><br>Is the confidence increase broader than studying at salford. The scheme will help them in so many ways.<br><br>Sense of belonging will be difficult, the wording and what we mean will really need to be unpacked for it to be meaningful to them.<br><br>There is the data too - so drop out and deferral patterns over the last few years compared with the buddy scheme year.&nbsp;<br><br>We can also get engagement with our service data and see whether international students who had a buddy were more likely to access our support than those who didn't.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>for the confidence increase questionnaire if you make sure you make it 'people in organisation only' and create two questionaires for before being buddied and after being buddied you will easily beable to smerge the data so that you can track an individuals responses pre and post.<br><br>Mostly the info you are gathering so far looks to be quantitative. In your eval approach do you need to cover what will be qualitative too? </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think if we are going to create a Buddy Scheme, then we need to actively support and promote it from our end also. This would mean not only support workshops for potential Buddys, but also workshops specifically for International Students to attend either with or without their Buddys (especially if the numbers increase as much as Emma suggests). This could also give us lot of useful info for evaluation purposes. Could we run a report in Advantage to identity new / current international students so that we can send out comms specific to them?</div>]]></description>
