Plants give us the basics of what we need to survive. They give us oxygen to breathe in the first place. We can cut down trees to make a house and burn firewood to stay warm, as the picture shows. We can also eat fruit to nourish our bodies.

I chose this video because the graphics are colorful, yet simple. It goes into the details of photosynthesis without overwhelming the viewer. The instructor speaks in a calm manner without shouting or rushing through like Crash Course videos sometimes do. Overall, it is a well put together video that I think would be helpful to learn how photosynthesis works.

I believe the tropical rainforest biome is in the most danger. First, there is a deforestation problem occurring in this biome. Less trees there mean less oxygen for the planet and less habitats for the wildlife that live there. There is also a smuggling problem happening there. People steal plants and animals from tropical rainforests and try to sell them. This leads to a decline in animal populations, which could result in the extinction of several species.

The is a graph of the world population before and after the First Agricultural Revolution. Once the Revolution took place, there was an obvious spike in population numbers. Before, there were only around 10 million people. After the revolution, the population increased to hundreds of millions of people, all thanks to plant domestication. Since there was no more need to migrate for food, people were able to settle down and grow their own crops. This eventually led to civilizations and towns being created.

This video explains how various inventions helped improve crop production when transitioning from agrarian to industrialized society. It further explained and provided visuals for fallowing. This process would help crops prosper when rotated the following year. It also talked about the impact of Jethro Tull's seed drill. This invention would help seeds stay in the ground instead of blowing away in the wind, which would produce larger yields.

All wildlife and plants will be gone. There will be droughts and wildfires everywhere. Humans will quickly die because of the heat and lack of resources.
