School team- for confident learner who can showcase their skills. They were identified by the coaches and the teachers with their good foundation and good learning attitude.

Recreational team-for newly joined member as well as those who wants to take the CCA as a form of fitness and not pushing themselves too hard.

They teach different skills / concepts to the different groups. Progressive teaching by the coaches.

The School Teams also goes for other friendly competitions besides NSG.

It's difficult for the Sports CCA to cater to different learning styles.

The instructor caters the lesson to the competency levels of the students, scaffolding the lesson for the P3 students who are new to the CCA. The instructor assesses the students' competency levels and assign them to the instruments that they can play well.

Learning styles - training sessions have a variety of drills and physical training to equip students with the necessary skills. Theory lessons to show gameplay and rules would be helpful to cater to visual learners

These students do not have the opportunity to have the full CCA experience (2-4.30) and for techniques heavy CCA like Guzheng and Percussion, proficiency level may be affected.

The students are able to learn a sense of rhythm, read music scores and play the instruments through the CCA sessions. Students also learn the CCA competencies of teamwork.

The P3 -P4 boys are taught basic ball handling skills before progressing to game strategies.

We should NOT have CCA training during WA / exam weeks. Students are stretched as they need to revise their work. Parents are also reluctant for their children to attend. Attendance rate during WA/ exam weeks are low. We should teach the children that there is a balance between CCA and studies. They know that they train hard during NSG period, but they also know the importance of studies during exam periods.

Holiday trainings should also be told to parents at the beginning of the term.

P5 & P6 - This group went through the IMDA's Microsoft Game Development Roadmap. They were able to develop single player

games on Makecode Arcade. Students also moved on to move to Intermediate stage to create aims to coach students to code and create more complex multii-level and multiplayer games.

Selected students also were given opportunity to participate in coding based competitions.

Video playback of the students' NSG games can be included in the debriefs for students to reflect and improve.

The boys learn many skills (sportsmanship, responsibility, resilience etc...) when they take part in NSG / external competitions.

During CCA, there are many opportunities for student centric, values driven teachable moments as they learn to work together, help and encourage each other.

Timing good for competition team. 3 hours might be a bit stretched for developmental team. Good that teachers are rostered for shifts.

Students learn skills, techniques and gain physical fitness during the session with guidance from coaches. Coaches use various coaching styles to cater for different learning style and need of the skills/techniques.

Teachers lead briefing, debriefing and facilitation during CCA sessions. These give us opportunity to teach 21CC and focus on other desired LOs.

CCA leaders are given opportunities to conduct briefing and team bonding as well as setting and sharing of team target.

All students are involved as game officials during CCA practises in which they can be exposed to much more learning opportunity, with guidance from teachers.
