      <description>Based in Pomona, California, Ruhi Patil is studying at the Western University of Health Sciences and working toward her osteopathic medicine degree. Ms. Patil completed her undergraduate studies in biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and was active as the Undergraduate Students Association Council financial support commissioner. In this role, she focused on ensuring that college was as affordable as possible. She also earned a high ranking from The Daily Bruin newspaper for her consistent efforts that included the launch of a Calculator Loan Library and the establishment of Financial Literacy Week.

As a global medicine and management graduate student at the University of Southern California (USC), Ms. Patil served as a USC Graduate Student Government senator. In this position, Ruhi Patil was instrumental in creating a resolution that supported students who were at risk of losing their financial aid.
