They feel awkward in front of the camera and they are afraid of having mistakes or not being "cool".

I liked the resourcefulness of some teachers in the article. I didn't know about those video and audio recording platforms.

I wonder why parents have such unrealistic expectations about the programs when they don't speak the language at home as shown in the article. For some is very important and get out of their own comfort zone.  Creating activities in where  students can practice reading and writing Spanish is crucial.
