Gwangju City was also proud of Ansan's great performance and put forward Gwangju's ambassador. In addition, Ansan athletes and Gwangju City are trying to hold the 2025 World Archery Championships in Gwangju. It may be difficult for an international sports event to be held in Gwangju again, but Gwangju had experience in hosting the 2015 Gwangju Universiade and the 2019 Gwangju World Swimming Championships.
