With the automobile you could travel way faster and get places quicker and more efficient.

Henry ford used the assembly line which made making a large quantity of the same part faster and there were extra parts for the vehicles if they broke. It made making a car without the assembly line (12 hours) to with the assembly line (2 and a half hours).

The Model T was the first car that was affordable to americans at $850 in 1908 but the price dropped significantly to $310 by 1926.

Ford became known for his vision of the manufacture of an inexpensive automobile that is made by skilled workers who earn steady wages.

After they had the design of their wings they added a movable rudder so that they could steer the plane and that's when they found out they had "the magic formula".
