서론

Hi, I am Chaebin Park from a middle school in Korea. I’d like to talk about Angela Merkel, the most influential politician of the twenty-first century.

본론

(본론1) I respect Angela Merkel more than anyone else in my life. She is a German politician who became the first female chancellor of Germany and served for 16 years. I first got to know her as a chancellor through the news. One of the most respectable things she did was help lead Europe during major crises, especially the refugee crisis in 2015. At that time, a civil war broke out in Syria, so many refugees needed shelter. Angela Merkel allowed one million refugees to come to Germany. This showed that Germany could help people in need and encouraged other countries to consider the same solution.

(본론2) I think this decision is the nicest thing about her. It was brave of her to stand by her decision even though many opposed it. I really respect her for this. It's also interesting that she showed the world that being kind is more important than being popular. She also emphasized the importance of helping others.

(본론3) If I could talk to her, I would like to ask about self-management. She is known for making very few mistakes. I hope to learn her secret to making fewer mistakes.

결론

These days, I’m trying hard to be like her. I read many books to gain more wisdom.

As I mentioned above, Angela Merkel is a great politician who has devoted herself to many important things. I hope more people will now know about her.

서론 Hi, I’m Se-eun. I’d like to talk about the woman I respect.

본론 1 It is Yu Gwan-sun that I respect most. She was born on December 16th, 1902. She was a student as well as an independence activist. She led the Manse Movement in prison and joined the March 1st Independence Movement. I first saw her in the video about the Japanese Colonial Period.

본론 2 I think the best thing about her is that she endured harsh torture at such a young age. It is impressive that she joined the movement despite the danger, and she never gave up. What I admire most is her determination. Another interesting thing about her is her last words and her hobby. She said, “I regret that I have but one life to dedicate to my nation.” It is fascinating that she could say such words at the age of 18. Her hobby was knitting, and it amazed me how such a humble pastime contrasted with the great things she accomplished.

본론 3 If I could talk to her, I would like to ask about her motivation for leading the Manse Movement and the reason she never gave up. I would also like to know her thoughts on South Korea today. To be like her, I study Korea’s history with passion and always respect our independence activists.

결론 In closing, I hope everyone develops a love for our country and a sense of gratitude toward the independence activists.

서론

Hello, my name is Songyoon.

I’d like to talk about a person I admire. She is Yuna Kim. She was born on September 5, 1990, in Bucheon. She is one of the most famous Olympic champion figure skaters.

본론1

She won the gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and the silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. After her retirement, Yuna Kim devoted herself to charity work and supported young athletes. Even as a world champion, she remained humble and respectful.

본론2

Although she cannot ride a bike, she is an incredible figure skater, and I feel proud of her. As a legendary former national athlete, Yuna Kim represents our country. Winning so many gold medals is truly amazing. When I first got to know her, she was already famous, but I believe she must have made endless efforts to reach that point.

본론3

“Everyone has someone they look up to. For me, that person is Yuna Kim, a world-famous figure skater who has inspired millions of people with her talent and character.”

결론

I especially admire Kim’s ability to overcome slumps. If I had the chance, I would like to ask her what skating means to her.

Thank you for listening.

I also hope to become a person who inspires others, just like her.

도입

Hi, I'm Seoyul Lee. I'd like to talk about the woman who I respect most.

본론 1

Her name is Taylor Swift. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Pennsylvania. She grew up in Tennessee and now lives in New York. Taylor is a singer who debuted in 2006 with her first album, ''Taylor Swift.'' Over the years, she has become one of the most influential pop artists in the world.

본론 2

She has won more than 14 Grammy Awards and is the first artist in history to win Album of the Year four times. Taylor is also well known for challenging the music industry to regain the rights and ownership of her albums. Thanks to her efforts, singers’ rights have gained more attention and the industry has started to change positively. I first discovered her through her famous song, "Shake It Off," which was featured in the animated film ''Sing'' when I was 8 years old. Her music and actions have inspired millions.

본론 3

I admire Taylor because she uses her influence for good causes. Despite her immense fame, she supports social movements such as women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights. She also reflects deeply on love and life, often exploring these themes in her music. She believes that all forms of love reflect our true selves. It is her honesty and authenticity that I deeply respect.

본론 4

Taylor was named after James Taylor, her parents’ favorite singer, to give her a gender-neutral name. Her parents originally hoped she would pursue a business career. She is famously obsessed with cats and currently lives with 3. She can identify around 50 cat breeds in a minute. One of her cats, Olivia, is rumored to have inherited nearly $97 million from Taylor.

본론 5

If I could meet Taylor, I would ask how she stays honest and true to herself despite being in the public eye. I am curious about how she makes decisions without regret. Personally, I often dwell on my past mistakes and blame myself. I hope to learn from her ways of staying confident and moving forward. Understanding her approach could help me free myself from self-criticism.

결론

To be more like Taylor, I try not to focus on others’ criticism or compliments about me. I also try to pursue my passions without shame. Sometimes I mistakenly think that not being passionate is wise or “cool,” but I now realize that dedication is valuable. Observing Taylor’s life has taught me that people who work hard to achieve their goals always shine. Her journey inspires me to embrace my own challenges and makes me grow.

Hi, I’m Nam Hyun Seo, a middle school student in Korea. I’d like to introduce the woman I respect.

If someone asks me who I respect the most, I would answer Kim Maria. She is a female independence activist. She played an active role as a female leader during the March 1st Movement in 1919. I learned about her through material and exhibitions related to the independence movement.

In my opinion, the most admirable thing about her is that she was brave, showed leadership, and achieved many such things even though she was a woman. What I find interesting about her is that after participating in the March 1st Movement, she was arrested and severely tortured, but she never gave up her will for independence.

If I could talk with her, I would like to ask this question. What challenges did you face as a woman leading the independence movement? And I will make these efforts to become like her. Even in tough situations I want to stand up for what is right and do not let fear control me? I really respect Kim Marial and I want to follow her bravery and leadership I hope I can also become a great person who inspires others.
