Hi, I am Chaebin Park from a middle school in Korea. I’d like to talk about Angela Merkel, the most influential politician of the twenty-first century.

(본론1) I respect Angela Merkel more than anyone else in my life. She is a German politician who became the first female chancellor of Germany and served for 16 years. I first got to know her as a chancellor through the news. One of the most respectable things she did was help lead Europe during major crises, especially the refugee crisis in 2015. At that time, a civil war broke out in Syria, so many refugees needed shelter. Angela Merkel allowed one million refugees to come to Germany. This showed that Germany could help people in need and encouraged other countries to consider the same solution.

(본론2) I think this decision is the nicest thing about her. It was brave of her to stand by her decision even though many opposed it. I really respect her for this. It's also interesting that she showed the world that being kind is more important than being popular. She also emphasized the importance of helping others.

본론 1 It is Yu Gwan-sun that I respect most. She was born on December 16th, 1902. She was a student as well as an independence activist. She led the Manse Movement in prison and joined the March 1st Independence Movement. I first saw her in the video about the Japanese Colonial Period.

본론 2 I think the best thing about her is that she endured harsh torture at such a young age. It is impressive that she joined the movement despite the danger, and she never gave up. What I admire most is her determination. Another interesting thing about her is her last words and her hobby. She said, “I regret that I have but one life to dedicate to my nation.” It is fascinating that she could say such words at the age of 18. Her hobby was knitting, and it amazed me how such a humble pastime contrasted with the great things she accomplished.

본론 3 If I could talk to her, I would like to ask about her motivation for leading the Manse Movement and the reason she never gave up. I would also like to know her thoughts on South Korea today. To be like her, I study Korea’s history with passion and always respect our independence activists.

I’d like to talk about a person I admire. She is Yuna Kim. She was born on September 5, 1990, in Bucheon. She is one of the most famous Olympic champion figure skaters.

She won the gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and the silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. After her retirement, Yuna Kim devoted herself to charity work and supported young athletes. Even as a world champion, she remained humble and respectful.

Although she cannot ride a bike, she is an incredible figure skater, and I feel proud of her. As a legendary former national athlete, Yuna Kim represents our country. Winning so many gold medals is truly amazing. When I first got to know her, she was already famous, but I believe she must have made endless efforts to reach that point.

Then I became interested and started looking for her talk show. I was amazed by her exceptional empathy and communication skills. If I were her, I wouldn’t even be able to express myself so well.

본론2: I think the best thing about her is that she created a home for the dying and ran an orphanage for abandoned children. She joined the Lorette order and left for India. It is amazing for her to receive the Albert Schweitzer Prize. What is interesting is that her father died when she was nine years old. She also won the Nobel Prize for founding the Missionaries of charity.

본론3: If I lived in that time, I would like to ask her why she decided to become a nun and how she felt when she won the Albert Schweitzer Prize. Moreover, I want to ask her how she achieved these great achievements, and how she was able to dedicate her life to others while sacrificing herself.

결론: Thanks to her good deeds, people around the world were inspired to help various charities and take over her spirit to extend a helping hand. I’m also trying to donate to charities for the poor and do volunteer work to be like her.

(본론1) Her name is Keon Ki-Ok. I read about her in a book. She was born on April 19th, 1988 in Korea. Her job I was to work as a woman pilot. She is known as a special Korean pilot. This is because she was the first woman pilot in Korea. (본론2) There were many hard times in her life. But finally, she became a pilot. She was also one of the independence fighters. She became a pilot and joined the independence movement. (본론3) If I could meet her, I would like to ask her one question. Why did she want to become a woman pilot? If I lived I had lived then, I couldn’t have achieved that dream. I want to learn something important from her story. It is not easy for me to overcome difficulties. But she never gave up, and she overcame her hardships.

Hi, My name is Jiwoo. I would like to talk about the woman who I respect the most, Shinsaimdang.

The woman I respect is Shinsaimdang. She was a Poet and an artist. She was born in Korea in 1504. I found out for the frist time when I saw the 50000 won bill. She excellently educated Yulgok Yi I and her seven other siblings.

본론2:

She contributed to raising the status of women in Joseon. She spent a long time at home focusing on creation and education. It was wise of her to educate her son. And, she left a strong work in art, education, and literature during her short life. She is the only woman who appeared in Korean bills of 50000 won.

If I could go to the past , I would ask of her when was the most enjoyable moment when you drew a painting. Also, I want to ask of her  what is the most regrettable moment in her short life. What I tried to be her was that I didn't neglect each day. I also try to have a meaningful day like her. Lastly, I am trying to cherish small moments of nature and life like her.

본론1: The woman I like is Karina. She was born on April 11, 2000. She is a top idol now. She was the first 4th gen girl idol to have a No.1 solo song. In 2024, her group won six grand prizes. I have known her since her debut.

본론2: It is impressive that she cares for people and notices things quickly. She also has excellent performance skills. She was famous on SNS even before her debut. She was cast twice by SM through DMs. She has a small face and a beautiful head shape.

본론3: If I could meet her, I would like to ask, "What goal do you want to achieve as an idol?" And I would also like to eat with her. Karina was asked what success is. She said she wants to live without worries and laugh once a day. I want to follow her mindset.

If someone asks me who I respect the most, I would answer Kim Maria. She is a female independence activist. She played an active role as a female leader during the March 1st Movement in 1919. I learned about her through material and exhibitions related to the independence movement.

In my opinion, the most admirable thing about her is that she was brave, showed leadership, and achieved many such things even though she was a woman. What I find interesting about her is that after participating in the March 1st Movement, she was arrested and severely tortured, but she never gave up her will for independence.

If I could talk with her, I would like to ask this question. What challenges did you face as a woman leading the independence movement? And I will make these efforts to become like her. Even in tough situations I want to stand up for what is right and do not let fear control me? I really respect Kim Marial and I want to follow her bravery and leadership I hope I can also become a great person who inspires others.
