In the school year 2018-2019, in Ms. Freedman's Language Arts class, I did many things. She helped me improved my writing skills for argumentative essays and expanded my view of literature. I enjoyed her class and learned things at the same time.

1. I love interpenetrating the books. I like to explain and appreciate the good grade when I work hard. Because of this, I love Socratic Seminars.
2. I like Literary Analyses. On this assignment, I had to use words Ms. Freedman gave the class and still interpret the book at the same time. I enjoyed using the words and interpret the book at the same time.
3. This assignment was another Socratic Seminar. I enjoyed doing this again because this was another book to interpret. It was review for me, but still fun.
4. I enjoyed doing the assignment My Bookshelf. It helped me keep track of all the books I read in the year. This is something most people would be proud of.
5. I enjoyed this work because it had me gather evidence from texts. If it weren't for this assignment, I probably wouldn't know how to gather evidence or what to look for. Because of this, this is one of my favorite assignments.

In the beginning of the year, my argumentative essays were weak, without a counterargument paragraph. When Ms. Freedman taught me this, it made my arguments much stronger. My goal next year is to improve on narrative and informative essays. My narrative stories and informative essays I write are not that good. The most memorable part about 7th grade Language Arts is probably when we do NoRedInk. I liked this because I improved my grammar and still had fun at the same time. Ms. Freedman is a great teacher and I hope to have as great teachers as she is in the the future.
