         <description><![CDATA[<div>The amount of land they got was determined by how much money they had and, how powerful they were. They decided on some main points of what would happen with the land. These are the points:<br>- They could only have colonies if they could defend them, and only if they could keep jurisdiction <br>- The Congo and Nile rivers were free to trade<br>Those rules were decided at the conference along with how the land was split. This picture is a map of how the land was split. <br><br></div>]]></description>
