On the 20^th of January 2022, my family and I had the opportunity to visit some of these places. The first location that we visited was the Tambiau Forest House. This site was and is still a huge tourist attraction. Hiking enthusiasts often come with the hopes of experiencing nature in its most authentic form whilst challenging themselves to reach the peak. Early birds could head to the venue as early as 5.30 A.M. to catch the beautiful sunrise view. Those who have experienced this trail could begin their hike earlier, whereas first timers such as ourselves would gather along with other individuals to climb the hill together with the supervision of the respected tour guide. 

Though I myself and some others may not be athletic, the hike itself was rather pleasant, as the route was straight and easy to conquer. An aspect that one should take into consideration before visiting the place is that fashionable sneakers would not help you walk on the steep, slippery muddy pathway. It’s important to use suitable footwear before attempting to hike the hill. After approximately 40 minutes, visitors should arrive at the peak. There lies various types of ‘treehouses’ and swings that are open for public use. Some of the treehouses lack walls and roof, similar to those you see in children’s movies. You just can’t resist to climb on one and take a picture as a memento!

After eating homemade and or café food while resting for a sufficient amount of time, hikers could either stay for a beautiful barbeque night-out or start their journey back. Going downhill from the rise is easier than proceeding uphill. Thus, it took us about 30 minutes to arrive at the starting point.
