I feel like Peg Kehret made this the ultimate closure. It felt exactly like it does when I finish a book even though it’s non-fiction and maybe even a little bit more. This was a great book and good thing  I finished school so early because now I can just dwell on that ending. Or, maybe it is colors, It does look happy. I am so glad that Peg learned to walk. I liked the way that the book ended, the epilog. How she is still fighting her battle. I looked up when the book was published and it was in 2006. I am glad all the girls went to high school, other than Shirley. At least she was alive until Peg left.
