I soooo appreciate being able to speak freely among a group of BIPOC people. Even though we don't all identify the same way, the space feels safe to name the difficulties that arise from white colleagues, which often can feel challenging.

Either more time OR more warning on when the room is about to close - maybe a halfway point and a 2-minute warning before closing. It was tough to see some folks not to get a chance to share their experiences because the 30-second countdown would pop up suddenly.

Something that was alluded to but not directly addressed was how to convince your direct report that they should see check-ins as opportunities to seize. The squeaky wheel was mentioned but what happens when you don't have that squeaky wheel? Is it just about sending them to a TMC training on managing up?

I think I still have my mocha Q - What projects is a mocha best suited for? Sometimes, I run into the issue where I am prompted to use a MOCHA, but that isn't the tool that best fits the work needed. What is a good shorthand for what kind of projects you'd use MOCHA for, vs when not to?
