"BlueWaves" aims to be the bridge between the two Adriatic coasts, Italy and Croatia, uniting communities through awareness and civic action. It expresses the principle that Italy and Croatia are two different nations, but share the same sea and the same responsibilities. Remember the need to cooperate to defend the Adriatic Sea, because everything that happens on one coast has consequences on the other. It therefore suggests unity, cooperation and shared commitment to preserve the sea as a common wealth.

With the signing of the Agreement Protocol ✍️ between Petacciato, Montenero di Bisaccia and Termoli and ARPA Molise, the MAPA project officially kicks off 🌊🇪🇺

A concrete step for the protection of the sea, the sustainability of the coasts and a blue future for our Molise! 🐟💙✨

Two schools, two countries, one sea 🇮🇹🤝🇭🇷

Italy and Croatia united by civic monitoring to protect the Adriatic 🐬🌍, enhance marine parks 🐠🌿 and transform data into awareness 📊✨

With ASOC we learn that transparency is not theory: it is participation, collaboration, future 🚀

The sea has no borders. Citizenship is not even active 🌊💙

Protected areas help defend nature, animals, and landscapes. 🌿 They are places where rules limit pollution and protect the environment.

At the Trigno River mouth, between Abruzzo and Molise, sand dunes and migratory birds are protected. 🐦

In the Parco del Conero, in the Marche, forests, cliffs, and many animal species are safeguarded. 🌊

On the island of Silba, in Croazia, sustainable tourism is promoted and the sea is protected. ☀️

Protecting these places means protecting our future. 💚

A valuable opportunity to understand how to protect nature, protect biodiversity and involve children in the care of the territory. 🌱🐟

Between field experiences, school projects and local initiatives, we learn that every little gesture counts for a more sustainable future! 💧

Class 3A AFM of the I.I.S. Boccardi-Tiberio participated in a meeting dedicated to environmental sustainability and plastic reduction, together with representatives of schools, the Municipality and various associations committed to environmental protection.

During the event we talked about separate collection, circular economy, environmental education and good practises that can help reduce waste. The results achieved by the city of Termoli were also presented, with over 73% of separate collection, and the importance of collaboration between institutions, schools and citizens to build a more sustainable future. 🌍♻️. A moment of confrontation and awareness that showed how young people can also contribute concretely to the protection of the environment.

With the ASOC project, we're working to strengthen and connect the Marine Protected Areas of the Conero Park, the Trigno River Mouth, and the island of Silba.

🌍 A cleaner, protected, and shared Adriatic is our commitment!

 🌊 From the challenges of industrialization missed by Mitsubishi to the birth of the Costa Verde, we have understood that tourism development requires courage and vision. He told us about the importance of enhancing the mouth of the Trigno and the SIC zones, not only as constraints, but as opportunities for authentic nature tourism. 

🦆 To create a Marine Park, however, we need services, direct connections for young people, and a true culture of environmental protection against illicit spills. 

🚫 An invitation to us students to "use our heads" to transform these dreams into concrete and sustainable projects.

The students of the 3A AFM class participated in an in-depth meeting on the European project MAPA, talking directly with the representatives of ARPA Molise.

Through a real interview prepared by the class, topics such as the protection of Adriatic ecosystems, environmental monitoring and the pilot areas of the project, including Foce del Trigno, Parco del Conero and Isola di Silba, were addressed.

A training experience that allowed students to get to know the world of European projects and environmental sustainability more closely. 🌱📚

During our sailing trip, we discovered the coast of Monte Conero and the Conero Park from a special perspective: the sea.

Amid spectacular cliffs and crystal-clear waters, we observed iconic places like Portonovo and the Due Sorelle rocks, symbols of this unique stretch of the Adriatic.

During the voyage, we also discussed protecting the sea and the Conero mussels, now protected to preserve this precious ecosystem.

🌱 The sea is more than just landscape: it is biodiversity, culture, and the future.

It's also up to us to protect it and imagine increasingly sustainable tourism.
