 Climate Action is a series of stepped up efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to Climate-induced impacts, including: climate-related hazards in all the countries. 

 

I felt like we could have worked with “Life below Water” and “Life on Land” to try to come up with some initiatives together like two companies working together. I also thought that those goals were a little connected because they base off from saving the planet and animals, but we talked about it and we decided not to, but then due to the fact that we couldn’t see each other because of the SARS-COV 2 pandemic, we have to go to plan B. So as I was researching I found out that Climate Action is something else, there is no actual country that is not experiencing the drastic effects of Climate Change. The human impact of geo-physical disasters, are 91% climate related, and which between 1998 and 2017 killed 1,3 million people, and left 4,4 billon injured. This goal aims to mobilize US$ 100 billion annually by 2020 (now) to address the needs of developing countries to both adapt to Climate Change and invest in low carbon development.

 

Now lets talk about pollution in the Earths atmosphere. Air pollution occurs when gases, dust particles, fumes (or smoke) are introduced into the atmosphere in a way that makes it harmful for plants and living things like humans. This is because the air gets unclean or dirty. Additional gases, particles or odours that are introduced into the air (by nature or human activity) can distort this natural balance and cause harm to living things. Carbon Dioxide is blamed for climate warming, makes up 0.04% percent of the atmosphere. And of these 0.04% of CO2, 95% comes from natural sources, such as volcanoes or decomposition processes in nature. The human CO2 content in the air is thus only 0.0016 %.  Climate Action 13

Conclusion

 

 

We think that our group had ups and downs, but by working together we managed to overcome them. 

We realized that one of our main problems was  lack  of communication because of the global pandemic caused by SARS-COV 2.

We have also encountered some technical difficulties while we tried to work with Minecraft  which we weren’t able to finish.

But overall in this experience we learned that group work and communication are key to being successful. We also learned that Climate Change is a serious matter and that we need to pay more attention to… but the most important thing we learned is that  union is strength (and not how we thought it was when we were 2 years old). 
if we must give us 2 stars and a wish for stars we would give us :

1 We were able to solve all our problems

2 We divided our parts fairly

And for wish we would say that:
We should have had more meetings  and agree on the deadlines that we gave each other.

But overall in this experience we learned that group work and communication are key to being successful. We also learned that Climate Change is a serious matter and that we need to pay more attention to… but the most important thing we learned is that  union is strength (and not how we thought it was when we were 2 years old).

lavorando sul nostro Global Goal, Climate Action, ci è venuta in mente un'idea per la nostra azione e volevamo chiederle alcune domande sulla scuola.

Saremmo molto  interessate nel sapere se la compagnia da cui la scuola si rifornisce di energia elettrica, la prende da produttori che forniscono energia  rinnovabile o eco-sostenibile? Altrimenti  sarebbe possibile sceglierne una che lo fa?

Ci chiedevamo se la scuola ha una certificazione energetica che dica se disperde energia o se la risparmia?

Volevamo chiederle, se  non sono già stati applicati, se è possibile mettere dei pannelli solari sul tetto?

Si può promuovere la costruzione delle colonnine per ricaricare le auto elettriche davanti alla scuola?
