At the Altar, the bride and groom exchange rings and vows. Once they kiss, the couple is followed down the aisle, by the wedding party. They are many variations on the traditional ceremony. Depending on what the couple likes, they will usually have either music or poetry during their service. Flower girls, and ring bearers are also common, and since many Roman Catholic weddings take place during mass, those present, receive Holy Communion.
