Requirement when you don't need to qada your salah

• Not in the right mind

• Fell asleep

• Drunk

• Properly perform the ablution

• Stay put after ablution

• Don't have a conversation with others (it can lead be remembered during salah)

During salah:

• Have the knowledge to recite everything so no doubting yourself in salah

• Make the effort to understand the recitation in salah

• First attempt- compulsory

The Prophet SAW recommend us to extend the range of assigned area needed to be covered with water

(eg: elbow area- extend it further up of arm)
