1. Jesus was in need of rest and water when a Samaritan women was walking to the well, he went to ask her for some water and she replied "you are a jew and i am a Samaritan women, how can you ask me for a drink". They then began to talk and Jesus was telling the women about having 5 husbands and telling her he could cure her thirst. The women then went to town and told the other women that she believed and gave her testimony.

2. It would have challenged the two individuals as the women believed in father Jacob as her savior.

a) A man by the name of Lazarus was sick and Jesus heard about it. Jesus told him that the sickness wouldn't end with death.
A few days later Jesus said "our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep but I am going to wake him."
On Jesus' arival to the tomb he saw that Lazarus had been there for four days.
b) The encounter that Jesus and Lazarus both faced was difficult as Jesus had to travel and help Lauarus but when he arriveed Lazarus was dead which was not expected for Jesus.

They told him about Jesus of Nazareth. The two had him stay with them for dinner and they realised it was Jesus and he disappeared.
