         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Use hole puncher to cut out ten leaf disk for the purple leaf the ten disks for the green leaf.</li><li>Place the leaf disks at the bottom of a syringe barrel, separate by color.</li><li>Fill each syringe with 5ml of bicarbonate solution tap to remove bubbles.</li><li>Create a vacuum by placing your finger over the opening and drawing back the plunger. Hold vacuum for 10 seconds.</li><li>Repeat process 2 to 3 times until all leaf disks sink.</li><li>Place syringes under light source and begin timing.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>From our hypothesis and experiment it turns out that darker pigment on the leaves(purple) doesn’t increase the rate of absorption of light. This can be proven by our data because zero purple discs floated and all ten green discs floated after the 18 minutes. This shows that photosynthesis was not taking place in the purple leaves because the purple leaves did not make Oxygen which is one of the end products in photosynthesis.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The purple leaves of the radicchio lattice is covered by green leaves when in the wild. These purple leaves on the inside are a good secondary photosynthesis source as they are covered almost entirely by green leaves that do carry out most the photo synthesis. We could’ve possibly ran the experiment longer to see if the few purple lettuce chloroplasts could’ve produced oxygen.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
