That she grew up with, crying as they loaded the trains. The homes left by these people were then taken and lived in by Nazis.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Many foreigners were assigned to work on farms. Worked for the farmers and ate their meals with them then returned to the camps at night. One incident in particular. One of the Polish workers got into an argument with a farmer and threatened him with a pitchfork. The man was sentenced to death and was hanged in the center of the town. The lawyer Rose worked for, went and witnessed it. She said when he returned his face was white and he was very sick to his stomach.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

One of the American soldiers promised Rose if they left, he would take her with them. In 1948, Rose married one of the American Soldiers and moved to the U.S with him.&nbsp;She later was a claims analyst for the Michigan Blue Cross.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;By 1938, Rosa was 17 years old when she began studies to become a government clerk in Wurzburg. 25 miles from her home village. Her mother had an English citizenship.&nbsp; Many jewish people asked her to teach them english in case they would get a chance to emigrate. Some were so desperate they asked her mother to write letters to try and receive a sponsor in another country. The nazis came after Kristallnacht. They are mad, they came at night, in trucks. They destroyed every Jews home. They destroyed expensive things. They took silver and small valuable things. Many jewish boys and men were taken and never seen again.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

On the radio, they always listened to British News because her mother was English. It was illegal to listen to foreign stations. Her job was to accompany soldiers around the village to help get anything they needed. Mainly furniture for the office the Americans set up in an old bank.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
