This book was a really good and heartfelt read. It's a sad story of tragedy about a young girl Suzy that had an unfortunate event happen in her life, her best friend passed away suddenly. This book would definitely be a little tough to read to young students, but from grade level 3rd and up, I think it would be a great book to discuss the topic of death. Especially with how the author talks about acceptance through death and the process one has to go through during the heartbreaking tragedy that is death. This book could be very comforting for students who have had to go through a death in their life, knowing theyre not alone and the feelings that they feel are completely normal and okay. I loved how the author connected her love for jellyfish with the main character. It was also super cool to see how smart Suzy was and how she connected the dots, which could also be inspiring for kids. My heart map shows the common themes I felt like were the most present in this great read.
