We all know about gold investment but due to the requirement, not much of people are able to invest due to insufficient funds. HelloGold is fantastic in a way that they allow consumer to purchase gold at any price which is more applicable for beginner with low asset.

As technologies evolves, our world is surrounded by IT. I am amazed of the areas that FinTech is involved in such as authentication, biometrics, cloud computing etc. Will, the speaker, told us that Singapore is the top FinTech Hub among other countries which is amazing. One thing that intrigues was the “Block Chain Technology” e.g. Attores. It allows consumer to save their certificate after it’s been verified, authentic and immutable. I find it very interesting as this saves paper wastage and impact in future interviews. For me, I would still prefer the old school way – which is to file in every certificate I accomplished. 

I am amazed of how the company evolved ever since they start up in the year 2016 and 2017. Starting a business is never easy. Despite all the challenges faced, they made it and proudly call themselves: “Founder” and “Co-Founder”, earning millions now. From this, I learnt that a good team should possess values such as objective, resilience, team work and responsibility. A team should work together towards the goal and objective set. 

 Learning journey makes learning more fun and intriguing. Thus, I enjoy myself during this trip to UOB FinLab.

They focus on matching the supply of innovative FinTech and technology solutions to meet the needs of SMEs that are embarking on the digital transformation journey.  SMEs such as PayKey, is a payment solution allowing users to complete transactions without leaving their social media and switch apps to make payments. The keyboards are with the same level of trust, security and privacy as bank application. 
I also learnt about the Window of opportunities for the 4th generation SME. It is about capitalising on the opportunities from digital economy. There will always have a continuous internal innovation powered by the future-skilled employees working in the SMEs alongside with the advancement of technology used in the future.

And the main thing to achieve success is to have a Great Business Model, Quality ideas and the most important thing is to have A good team of people with the same mindset and goals.
