Caste systems have been apart of the Indian society for more than a Millennia.
Caste systems are a bad thing to have in a country because they separate people based on gender, social status, wealth and much more and that is not good for a country because other people are left out and the people that are left out are the people that usually suffer the most from decisions made for them that they weren't apart of.

Communist states are unfair places to live at, I say this because citizens have no say whatsoever to what happens to their country whatever the leader says is what happens and they are not even given a choice to live and move to a different country in hope for a better life but instead they are forced to stay and they are completely isolated from the rest if the world which isn't a good thing.
