It was a mistake from the French that caused the turning point.
 

In the long term, Britain had trouble dealing with first nations and Quebec origins.
 
Eventually they created Quebec act which upset the thirteen colonies and lead to the American Revolution, which Britain already were low on money due to this seven years war. Lost the thirteen colonies so it isn’t a British win.

-Britishs was the ones who made decisions to bomb and siege Louisbourg, which helped them get the lead and advantage, and eventually captures Quebec, which results in other crucials fights which british win
 
- in the battle of the plains of Abraham on sept 13, the british decided to stay and fight the French instead of go back to Britain and resupply on weapons (which would’ve given the French more time to also resupply) and won the turning point battle. This happened because of the decisions of the british therefore meaning because of their actions, british won the seven years war
